YIDDISH VERSES Concert-presentation

Yiddish Veršes is a music album based on the poetry of Jewish poets from Belarus who wrote in Yiddish during the first half of the 20th century. Seven contemporary Belarusian artists reinterpret these long-sidelined texts, transforming them into original compositions across a range of genres — from dreamy dub and electronic to art rock and rap.

Yiddish Veršes was presented in Vilnius during Culture Night with live sets by Tok Rukoo, Syndrom Samazvanca, and WTBSK, combining tracks from the album with their original repertoire.
